Alti Formaggi

The Alti Formaggi project was founded in 2009 by some of the Lombard cheese consortia. A common strategy for the launch of a brand as well as the first example of synergy between Consortia in Italy. A way to make the system better and disseminate knowledge and information about these quality products.

The portal has been and will continue to be the main point of reference for the project: a common area of information, valorisation and joint promotions for consumers and connoisseurs. In 2011, Alti Formaggi became an association. The Consortia wanted to give a definitive legal structure to the project.

The goal is to interact with increasingly active consumers, not only through the internet but also thanks to an active presence and specific initiatives, training and information in schools and promotion and enhancement of associated PDO and PGI products.

The activities promoted and developed by Alti Formaggi do not replace, but complement the initiatives of each member, including the Consorzio Tutela Provolone Valpadana.
